Halo 3 Takes Lives

Halo 3Does anyone else agree that Halo 3 is one of the best yet most addicting games around? Some friends of mine will sit down to play just a couple of games, that eventually turn into an entire day/night event. It’s kind of pathetic, but I guess if you really have nothing else to do it will easily pass the time.

For those who don’t play Halo 3 ask why it is so addicting? Well, because for the most part you get to converse with teammates and the opposition through headsets. These people can be from around the world or in your own city, and your teams are chosen differently every time you play unless you partner up. The headsets are initially used for strategy against the other team, however, you will probably just hear an age range of 5-year-olds to 50-year-olds swearing at each other. This includes girls as well, and you’d be surprised at how many females play on a regular basis. Who would have thought so many girls want to run around killing people while stating vulgar remarks…

And then again there are those girls who hate Halo 3 because it steals their boyfriends away from them for hours. They just don’t understand that this is sacred time.  One friend of mine who lives with his girlfriend is constantly getting yelled at for playing too long, which is hilarious by the way.

But, the final realization that Halo 3 is the most addicting game around might be from the fact that while on spring break, a friend of mine was sitting on one of the most beautiful beaches with a drink in his hand and half naked women running around, and all he could say was “I wish we brought Halo with us.”

If anyone is addicted to Halo 3 like most of my friends or just can’t get enough of another game…let me know.
